SR Drivers are currently recruiting experiencedHGV Class 1 Trunking (Category C+E) Driverson behalf of a long-established transport and logistics client based inHenstridge (BA8).

Whether you're looking forfull-time ongoing workorflexible ad hoc shifts, we have excellent opportunities available acrossday and night shiftswith immediate starts.

This is a straightforwardtrunking roleinvolving depot-to-depot trailer movements, collections and trailer swaps.No handballis required, allowing you to focus on driving.

The Role\n

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

\n

\n
• Trunking deliveries and collections between customer depots
\n
• Trailer drop and swaps
\n
• Returning loaded trailers back to the depot
\n
• Completing vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
\n
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
\n
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
\n
• Complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport legislation
\n
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
\n

Shift Patterns\n

\n
• Day Shifts:Start times between05:30 - 06:00
\n
• Night Shifts:Start times between17:30 - 18:00
\n
• Monday to Friday
\n
• Optional weekend shifts available
\n
• Ongoing work
\n
• Ad hoc shifts available
\n
• Immediate starts
\n

Pay RatesDay Shifts\n

• Monday to Friday -£16.50 per houror£18.51 per hourincluding accrued holiday pay

• Saturday -£17.00 per houror£19.05 per hourincluding accrued holiday pay

• Sunday -£18.50 per houror£20.66 per hourincluding accrued holiday pay

Night Shifts\n

• Monday to Friday -£18.00 per houror£20.17 per hourincluding accrued holiday pay

What We're Looking For\n

To be considered, you will need:

• Valid UKHGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Minimum12 months' Class 1 driving experiencepreferred
\n
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations
\n
• A reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude
\n
